A coastal loop of cliffs, seafood, and quiet towns.

I had ridden my bicycle once all around the Gaspe Peninsula when I was 12 years old. We camped along the way. Percé Rock at sunrise was unforgettable. I have recently taken my car and the drive itself is the highlight—long, scenic, and unhurried. Locals are very friendly and inviting, and the food of course contains much fresh seafood. I found many places to stop and hike around for stellar views of the St. Lawrence Seaway as it hits the Atlantic Ocean.
