Panama: Canal, City, and Coast

Panama City feels like a mix of Miami and Latin America. Flying into Tocumen Airport (PTY), I took a taxi into the city (~25 minutes). The skyline is modern, but the historic Casco Viejo is where the character is. The Panama Canal is worth visiting — seeing ships pass through gives context to its importance. Nearby islands are accessible for day trips. What I’d do differently: Spend more time outside the city.
