Mexico City: Culture, Food, and Neighborhoods
A vibrant capital city offering museums, food, and strong neighborhood identity.
Mexico City is far more approachable than many expect. Flying into Mexico City Airport (MEX), I took a taxi to Roma Norte, which I’d strongly recommend as a base — leafy streets, cafés, and a more relaxed feel. The city is built around neighborhoods:
· Roma & Condesa → cafés and restaurants

· Centro Histórico → historic core
· Polanco → upscale dining I spent time at:
· Zócalo (main square)
· Frida Kahlo Museum (Coyoacán)
· Chapultepec Park (huge and worth exploring) Food is a major highlight — from street tacos to high-end restaurants. What I’d do differently: Spend more time exploring Coyoacán.
